"Uncommon Type: some stories" is a collection of short stories by actor Tom Hanks that was published in 2017. It says on the book jacket that this is the first book (short stories) of fiction that he had written in 2017. Most of the stories were great, but I admit that it took me until I finished it that I wondered what the title has to do with the typewriters being added to most of the short stories means. The title is also written out on the book cover is written on the top of a typewriter key. It also explains who the title and Hanks name are printed on them. I loved the way the typewriter was added to most of the stories. If a computer was not mentioned, it was still always a part of the story with a picture of a typewriter on the opposite page of the first page of the story. I would highly recommend it to all readers. Especially to those who love short stories. Even if you have not read them in some time then you should try the genre again! you will love it!
